1 Teaspoon maca root

1/2 Teaspoon lemon zest, organic

Soak macadamia in filtered water for approximately 7 hours and wash thoroughly. Using the Vitamix preferably or a high-speed blender, pour 200ml of water with the macadamias into the blender. Select Variable 1 and slowly increase speed to Variable 8 for 30 seconds. Add maple syrup, maca, lemon zest and lemon juice. Blend again by slowly increasing speed to Variable 9 for 40 seconds. Prep the Vanilla Bean by splitting the pod lengthwise into two halves. Scrape the pod halves and add the seeds to your mixture. Blend on Variable 3 for 40 seconds. Cut or open figs with yours fingers into quarters and serve with mixture.

The cream has superfood Benefits:

Is a wonderful superfood!  The root contains protein, zinc, magnesium, calcium and iron as well vitamins, and carbohydrates.  It increases energy, endurance, strength, libido and balances the hormonal system, the nervous system, aids regeneration and boosts the immune system.

Feel free to add 1 Tablespoon of maca for a stronger taste. Also the cream is best when chilled  for approximately 3 hours in the fridge. You may also enjoy it with seasonal fruit – e.g. summer berries. It can be stored in a jar in the fridge for one more day.
